STEP 1: A standard screw gun with a depth sensitive nosepiece should be used to install Teks. For optimal fastener performance, the screw gun should be a minimum of 4 amps and have an RPM range of 0-2500.
STEP 2: Adjust the screw gun nosepiece to properly seat the fastener.
STEP 3: New magnetic sockets must be correctly set before use. Remove chip build-up as needed.
STEP 4: The fastener is fully seated when the head is flush with the work surface.
STEP 5: Overdriving may result in torsional failure of the fastener or strip out of the substrate.
STEP 6: The fastener must penetrate beyond the metal structure a minimum of 3 pitches of thread.
